BRINGING SUPPORT CREW
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Registration is essential. It allows us to send important information directly to support crew and soigneurs. All support crew and soigneurs who want to access the Feed/Tech Zones on course must register, using the form below.
COURSE ACCESS
The course is in a remote area of the Australian bush, and access to the entire course is not possible, and must not be attempted.
- Feed Zones are located at fixed points on the course (see map below…click to download PDF).
- Supporters and soigneurs should feed riders or provide technical support only at these designated Zones.
- Driving routes to the Feed Zones at Checkpoints 2, 3, 9 and 1 are provided in the RideWithGPS links below.
- Walking access to Checkpoint 7 Feed Zone is via Balingup-Nannup Road, only 300 metres from the start/finish line.
- Additional water stations are indicated by the water icon on the map. These additional stations are not accessible by soigneurs or the general public.
IMPORTANT! CHECKPOINT 1 ACCESS – ONLY AFTER 12:20PM!
The Checkpoint 1 Feed and Tech Zone can only be accessed after 12:20pm via Milward Road, Killarney Road and Agg Road. These roads are gravel and are ON COURSE in the morning. Do not attempt to access these roads before 12:20pm! This Checkpoint provides access for soigneurs to their riders before they enter back onto Balingup-Nannup Road to head towards Nannup.
HIRING A VEHICLE
If you are hiring a vehicle with the intent to provide bottle hand-ups at CP1 or CP3, you must ensure that the vehicle you hire can be taken onto gravel roads. We recommend hiring a 4-Wheel Drive to travel to these locations.
FOR NATIONAL TEAMS
If you are registering on behalf of a National Team, use the contact details of the person best placed to pass this information on to all support crew and soigneurs.
WRISTBANDS
Riders will receive wristbands (access bracelets) and parking passes for their support crew and soigneurs inside their race packs.
